How annual fee is spent
Where does your membership subscription go?
Payments to Third Age Trust
Your annual fee does not, in general, go to support the wide range of activities we offer. Our policy is to have a low annual membership fee with charges set for each individual class. This means that members only pay for those activities in which they participate.
Our uses of the subscription fee
These include
- Hall rental for the meetings etc
- Payment of expenses to speakers
- Posting out notice of, and documents for, our annual general meeting
- Printing and posting of the annual handbook
- Subsidising health and IT courses (£0.50)
- Cost of web site and publicity materials
- Postage to members without email
